In the next couple of weeks I will be pretty busy preparing Pulse Trade Show in Earls Court, London (1-3 June). It's one of the best and biggest show for spotting the latest trends in interior products and the new up and coming designers-makers. Ophelia making tea this weekend. Very nice indeed. I bought the little bowls in NYC when I was expecting her. I new one day they will be much appreciated for a tea party!
I really like the way Paola Navone (great Italian interior guru!) transforms this old rusty garden chair into a unique piece. She found the chair in Paris Puces de Clignancourt, she added a piece of fluorescent yellow Altuglas at tied it to the chair with bright string from India.
The table was made out of old wood boards painted in grey and attached by red strings.

I fell in love with these knitted house dresses shown at the Arnehem Mode Biennale 2007. How great would it be to wear your own home! I don't think mine would be the best looking one . I am quite slow at knitting so I use think wool and big needles to go quicker! Thanks to Bloesem blog.
It's the time of the year where we can see so many shades of green. Here are some green colours around the house.
The big glass sphere was found on Columbia road (East End), I can't remember the name of the shop, but if you go there on a Sunday morning (very early) then you can get the most amazing flowers for a bargain, and check out all the lovely shop along the way.
The vintage glass jar was found on a market in the South West of France near Cahors.
I am very lucky to have talented ceramicists in the Family. My mother made our plates with lovely shade of green glazes. My little sister Charlotte did the leaves. Merci les filles!
During our last trip to Amsterdam I fell in love with the way of life of this fabulous city. We all new how good designers the Dutch are. They are so inventive without being complicated. Check out Droog Design.
This chair diminishes as the child becomes older. A very small child has to sit high to be at eye level with its parents. The older the child, the lower the chair. For this reason a small saw is supplied so that the chair can be altered as required.

I also fell in love with their bikes. They are thousands of them! I think this is a great way to carry the children around. Not sure though about the safety...helmets anyone? Apparently if you or your child wear an helmet in Amsterdam everybody expect that you are a tourist! You can get these online at Bakfiets.

Great way to customize a wall. I did a similar thing with hand paper cut wallpaper or you can use stencils for similar effects.
I just love this bright pink and the exotic birds!
Beautiful mobile made of different coloured rice paper lampshades.
