First a big THANK YOU to Rohini from The Beat That My Heart Skipped blog for asking me to be part of 'My Inside Life'. You can get to know me a bit more by reading it!

Browsing at her fab blog I discovered that the legendary London Restaurant and Champagne bar Ketner's has been revamped by Studio Ilse. I am a huge fan of Isle Crawford interiors (Soho House London & NYC, Shoreditch House, Cowshed...), it's always stylish with a homely atmosphere. Next time i'm in town and child free I'm def going to have some champagne there...soon I hope...

Happy New Year

Thanks to everyone who helped, inspired or encouraged us.

In particular, on behalf of our small (but growing!) family business we'd like to thank:

• All the wonderful bloggers/writers/designers who share our passion.
• All the journalists who have encouraged us by sharing or recommending our creations.
• All the shops and small businesses who sell our products.
• And of course, all those people who bought something for themselves, their friends or family.

As a family, on the whole, we loved 2009. We lost a few, had a little more bad news (like everyone) but mostly we're left smiling with some incredible souvenirs:

We moved to France.
We launched lots of new products for Famille Summerbelle - most notably the maps of London, Paris and New York.
Ophelia started school. French and English (her French is probably better than mine - depressingly)
Julie gave birth to our beautiful little boy Lucien. Officially the easiest baby in the world.
And I quit our last vestige of security. My job.

So here's to 2010. We're happy, excited and just a little scared. Perfectly ready I'd say.
