I'm always very excited when I see a nice dollhouse. I think it's because I've made a lot of models when I used to be a set designer. I'd love to get hold of the Gotland Summer house, or the Stockholm modern house with the pool hidden in a draw for Ophelia (or for me!). From Lundby.

A huge thank you to the Dutch magazine Ariadne at Home Kinderen for featuring our Paris map in their latest issue. When they contacted me before the Summer, they asked me if they could enlarged the Paris map into a wall sticker for the photo shoot. I really love the result!
Lots of exciting events this week in London for the Design Festival. I'll be visiting at the end of the week to go and see as much as I can. On my list: 100% Design at Earls Court, Jean Nouvel pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery (West), Tent at the Truman Brewery, Origin at Spitafields Market, Ella Doran (East) and much more if I can squeeze it in my 2 days visit!

...and my studio as well! I need to clear it all up to start working on new ideas. Ophelia is now back at school and Lucien has a nanny 3 days a week so it will leave me time to think ahead and plan new products for Famille Summerbelle. It's nice to get some time for myself as well, clear up my head and look for new things, get the paper out and start using my scalpel again.
Drawing I did using Chinese ink and the colours were added later on the computer.
Beautiful paper airvases designed by Torafu Architects in Japan. The airvase is made from thin and lightweight paper that is remarkably flexible. It comes flat packed, you just shape it yourself (See video). From Upon a Fold.
The beautiful Papier Maché online mag has released a new issue. As always it's a pleasure to read and look at. I wanted to say a big MERCI to Emma Cassi for including our new coral pink Paris map in her photoshoot 'I fell asleep amongst the flowers.. for a couple of hours...' (love the title). This little blond curly hair girl is so cute!
