The whole family is in a middle of a nasty flu and we are trying to slowly recover from it. I'll be back soon but in the meantime here is a little sneak peak from Bonton window display in Paris rue du Bac. I love the combination of pink and yellow. Click here for more images.
I bought this interactive book for Ophelia as she's learning to read at the moment at school. Tip Tap is a French book with a CD included. It's from Anouck Boisrobert the same designer who did a Popville. It's very easy and fun to play with to learn new words and make animated sceneries. I have to say I also loved the book straight away for the beautiful illustrations.
After school relaxing time with my daughter.
Her, dressed in a pink synthetic princess dress drawing the castle she would like to live in with her prince.
Me, painting triangles and sewing a cushion.
Nice.

To warm up a little with bright colours here is a selection of desk accessories from Danish brand Hay:
So it has taken a while, but we've finally started producing our maps as paper cut originals. Hurrah!
The problem to date has been finding somebody that can recreate the maps to their finest details...a laser that can cut out the fingers on a hand or the wisps of hair on a head.
Well we found those people...quietly working away in Scotland doing some wonderful stuff. I think we set them a new challenge with these maps, but my, how they have risen to the task!
By way of a launch (!), we've also produced a short film showing how we made San Francisco:
There are some wonderful details in this map - many little secrets about San Francisco that were provided by the readers of this blog. Thanks so much to you all!
All of our new paper cut originals are available to buy now at Famille Summerbelle.
By Eléonore Nalet and distributed by Ligne Roset. A delicate metallic chair dressed with long and comfortable cushions. I tried it and it's indeed very comfy!
