By Japanese designer Jo Nagasaka of Schemata Architecture Office. The table smooth and colourful surface is achieved by pouring coloured epoxy onto the uneven surface of the wooden table. The colour of the resin is more or less intense depending on the varying depths of the wood across its surface. Isn't it beautiful?

I really like these. I love the fact you can preserve the undulating grain of the wood while creating an overlay of colour and give a perfectly flat surface. Ah - the best of both worlds.
