When I walked out of the Gare Saint Lazare yesterday, I was rather surprised to see a giant see-through tent by Ikea on the main square of the station. La Textilerie is hosted by 8 seamstresses and 2 interior designers who have lots of ideas for your home to share with you. You can choose from their catalogue a fabric pattern and a design you like for your home (tablecloth, cushion cover, curtains...). Place an order in the morning and a seamstress will make it during the day ready for you to pick up after work. If you have some spare time you can also take part in sewing or fabric customising workshops. Be quick as the pop up tent will be gone at the end of the week...
Its the details of our lives I think that in some respects make the impact. Its only once in a while the big picture matters. I loves these photos of the details.
