I cannot tell you how happy Ophelia was when she received the new book written by our friend Al MacCuish The Bee Who Spoke. It is her sitting in the middle reading the story to her friends.
When we lived in Paris, Al came to visit us with his family and mentioned to us later that Ophelia inspired him to write a new story for a children's book. He even dedicated the book to her. Ophelia was SO happy.
The book tells the story of Belle, a little parisian girl who goes on holiday to the countryside and is eager to explore on her new bicycle. After falling off her bike she meets a talking bee who rescue Belle and they go on an adventure together. It a beautiful story that educates children about nature, plants and the environment. You will be charmed by the painted illustrations by Rebecca Gibbon!
Al's first children book was the playful Operation Alphabet with the retro illustrations by Luciano Lozano.
The Bee Who Spoke and Operation Alphabet are available to purchase on Amazon.
