While walking Téo to sleep the other morning I passed Imps and Elfs store which is 5mn walk from my home. They have of course the most wonderful clothes for kids, but I just fell in love with the floorboards. I want the same in my home!

When we have such a warm and sunny day in Amsterdam like this Sunday, we love to rent a boat and a picnic and get lost in the canals...
...Ophelia and Lucien are off school so we decided to visit The Oasis of Matisse exhibition at the Stedelijk museum. It is only a short bike ride from our home, so they took their pencils and notebooks and off we went.
It is the largest ever retrospective of work by Matisse to be shown in the Netherlands. The ground floor rooms features paintings, drawings and sculptures by Matisse alongside works by Cézanne, Van Gogh, Picasso and others.
The top floor focuses on Matisse's monumental cutouts. The children loved this part best, I guess due to the strong colours and bold shapes that they can relate to.
Families with children can go in the Stedelijk's Family Lab where round tables with lots of colourful papers and scissors are displayed. Ophelia and Lucien were very excited to create cut-outs like Matisse and pin them on the wall!

Leaving the exhibition, we walk pass the Rijskmuseum and loved the stunning clouds over our heads!

I'm trying to figure out how I can improve to have a more tidy desk and yet keep all the things I need (pencils, scissors, scalpels, notebooks...) and like to see (postcards, drawings...) in one place.
I like the idea of adding a large pegboard that I would paint in white on the right of my desk. I'll have baskets for all my stationary and clips to hangs photos and drawings. Here's a little inspiration from my Pinterest board.

First holidays up high for our little Téo who turned 2 months old few days ago. We're enjoying few days relaxing in the French Alps.
Window display/installation for Isabel Marant by French artist and set designer Arnold Goron. The Happy Clouds and Felt Sculptures were exhibited at the Villa Noailles during the Festival International de Mode et de Photographie de Hyères in the South of France.
